The upstairs living room is the main entrance to the home. It is accessed from the outside from a 3'-0" door located near the middle of the home, or on the west wall of the living room. Entrance from the living room to the rest of the home is made through the south west corner by means of a 3'-0' door.
The room receives a lot of natural light from a large 4'-0"x8'-0" double slider window. There is no ceiling light in this room. There are two, 3-way light switches located near each of the two doorways which operate one of the two receptacles of the room outlets. Currently, we have a lamp plugged into one of the outlets that is operated by the switch and additional lamps to provide lighting for this room.
